US Power handles the installation. EnFin handles the financing — loan or lease. Together, we help homeowners go solar without the guesswork.
Backed By Qcells
EnFin's financing programs are backed by Qcells, one of the largest solar panel manufacturers in the country — the same manufacturer behind the panels US Power installs factory-direct on every project. Your equipment and your financing come from a connected source, not two unrelated companies.
Applications get a fuller review, not just a three-digit number — so more homeowners have a real shot at approval.
Lower fees and quick funding mean your US Power crew can break ground sooner instead of waiting on paperwork.
A streamlined path from application to approval, so you're not chasing updates for weeks at a time.
US Power and EnFin coordinate directly, so your financing and your installation timeline actually stay in sync.
Real Support
Every application gets a real, personal review — not just an automated credit pull — because more homeowners deserve a genuine shot at approval. From the moment you apply through funding and installation, and after your system is up and running, someone's actually paying attention.

After that, it's just sunshine and savings.
Solar Lease
With an EnFin solar lease, you pay a fixed monthly rate based on your system's expected production. US Power handles the installation and upkeep, while EnFin owns the equipment for the term of your agreement — so your payment stays predictable, but you're not building equity in the hardware itself.
Terms are set when you sign and can run up to 25 years. Your US Power rep will confirm the exact length written into your agreement.
Your EnFin homeowner portal has a copy of your signed agreement available to download any time you need it.
No — EnFin retains ownership for the length of the lease, and you'll have the option to purchase the system once the term ends. If ownership from day one matters more to you, ask your rep about the loan program instead.
Since EnFin owns the system under a lease agreement, ownership-based tax credits and incentives go to EnFin rather than to you. A licensed tax professional can tell you what, if anything, applies to your specific situation.
No upfront payments or deposits are required with a lease — nothing is owed before your system is installed and turned on.
Billing typically starts once your system is installed and producing power. Your signed agreement lists the exact billing schedule.
It depends on your agreement — some leases include a scheduled annual increase, others stay flat for the full term. Ask your US Power rep to walk through what your specific contract includes.
You can pay through your EnFin homeowner portal, by ACH autopay, or by check — and autopay enrollment may come with a discount.
EnFin works with a third-party vendor that monitors your system remotely to catch performance issues early. If something's affecting your system's output or connectivity, that vendor will reach out to you or work directly to resolve it.
Start with your US Power rep, or reach EnFin support directly through your homeowner portal.
After a buyout, ongoing servicing becomes your responsibility — though US Power remains available for maintenance and repair requests going forward.
Usually not — rainfall keeps most panels clear on its own. If you're in a low-rainfall area, or after a stretch of heavy dust or pollen, an occasional cleaning can help keep output where it should be.
Many homeowner's policies can be updated to cover a solar system — check with your insurance provider to confirm exactly what your policy covers.
You have a few paths: transfer the lease to the new homeowner (subject to approval), buy out the system before closing, or prepay what's remaining on the lease. Once bought out, ownership transfers to you and monthly payments end.
As early as possible — ideally as soon as you decide to sell. Reaching out to EnFin or your US Power rep early gives you time to weigh your options before closing.
It depends on how far along you are in your term. Your homeowner portal or EnFin directly can give you a current buyout quote.
Typically not — a solar lease usually doesn't factor into a standard mortgage refinance, though your lender may request supporting documentation. EnFin support can provide whatever paperwork is needed.
Buying out a leased system gives you ownership from that point forward, but it doesn't retroactively apply credits tied to the original install date. A tax professional can walk you through what applies to your situation.
You'll have a choice: purchase the system at fair market value, renew your agreement, or have the system removed at no cost to you.
Yes — your system offsets some or most of your electricity usage, but your utility provider still bills you for any grid connection fee and whatever energy your system doesn't cover.
Solar Loans
No penalties or fees apply if you pay off your loan ahead of schedule. For a payoff quote, log into your homeowner portal or call (818) 650-8010 to talk with a specialist.
Yes — your solar system cuts down what you pull from the grid, but your utility may still charge a monthly connection fee or bill you for energy your system doesn't generate.
Solar loans can generally transfer to the new homeowner pending credit approval, or you can pay off the remaining balance at closing.
No — EnFin solar loans don't carry any prepayment penalties.
Not usually — it's a separate, unsecured loan that generally doesn't come into play during a mortgage refinance. If your lender asks for documentation, EnFin support can provide it.
The federal residential solar tax credit isn't currently available. Some states and utility providers offer their own incentives — a licensed tax professional can confirm what applies where you live.
No — EnFin solar loans are unsecured. Your home isn't used as collateral, and no lien is placed on your property.
Hatch Bank is one of the lenders that may originate loans under the EnFin Loan Program, alongside EnFin Corp. directly. Your loan documents will specify exactly which entity is your lender.
Log into your homeowner portal to manage communication preferences, or reach out to EnFin support directly.
Yes — EnFin's application process supports adding a co-applicant, and your US Power rep can walk you through the steps.
